My Promise to You
After 25 years in medicine it is clear to me that the current system is not working. It is based on waiting for people to get sick and then offering them a pill, a hospital bed or other expensive technology. There is little support for those wanting to focus on health.
There is another way. It is not a given that you must get ill as you get older. It is not a given that rates of cancer, heart disease and diabetes have to keep rising. Above all else it is not the case that you need to be a victim.
Dr Joe’s Do It Yourself Health (DIY health) is based on the principle that your health is directly influenced by how you live your life. The decisions and choices you make about what you put into your body, how active you are, how much rest and relaxation you get and how you deal with stress impact on your health, vitality and wellbeing.
Whilst it may come as a surprise, choosing to be healthy is easy and fun. It increases your energy levels and you will look and feel better.
In setting up Dr Joes DIY Health, my promise to you is to share knowledge and tips with you on simple inexpensive and fun things that you can do to improve and optimise your health.
